Rinse with fresh water every two to four weeks — more often if you’re within a mile of the ocean, where salt buildup is heaviest. A deeper clean with mild soap and a soft cloth a few times a year keeps finishes looking new.
Thermal expansion highlights existing looseness. Temperature doesn’t cause the problem — it reveals it. Worth having checked.
